Mr. Jeremy Lane Williams, 31, of 257 Taliaferro St., Tallapoosa, Ga., passed away on Feb. 4, 2012. He was born on March 15, 1980, in Carrollton, Ga. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Williams; grandparents, Ruth Hunt Brooks and Gene Williams; aunt, Charlotte Tidwell, and uncle, Lane Williams.
Jeremy was employed with D&G Boring in Tallapoosa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and – more than anything – spending time with his boys.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tammy Aumann Williams of Tallapoosa; sons, Jacob Williams and Jordan Williams, both of Tallapoosa; mother and step-father, Patricia L. and Joe Hicks of Tallapoosa; father and step-mother, Talmadge Williams and Debbie Spence of Carrollton, Ga.; grandparents, Joyce Williams of Tallapoosa and Olander and Edna Smith of Jamestown, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Jean Hicks of Waco, Ga.; sister-in-law, April Williams of Tallapoosa; special niece and nephew, Jeri Williams and Justin Williams, both of Tallapoosa; and special aunts/second moms, Ann Williams, Anita York and Anita Addison, all of Tallapoosa.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Kennedy and Bro. Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music was provided by Jeffery Hulsey and Vicki Bailey. Pallbearers were Preston Prater, Jamie Owens, Zack York, Kassidy Craft, John Feltrinelli, Alan Chandler, Cory Wood and Charlie Ridley. Honorary pallbearers were his sons, Jacob Williams and Jordan Williams, and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department Work Detail.
Interment followed in Hollywood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help cover Jeremy’s funeral expenses. Donations may be dropped off or mailed to Miller Funeral Home, 41 West Mill St., Tallapoosa, GA 30176.

Jonathan Thomas Bales, 27, of Bremen died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012.
Memorial services were held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at is parents’ residence.

Wanda Boatright
Wanda Ann Boatright, 52, of Bremen, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Vista Hospice in Atlanta. The native of Brookhaven, Miss., was a bookkeeper with TG Mercer Consulting. Wanda enjoyed traveling, fishing, decorating her home and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Boatright of Bremen; sons, Craig (Lisa) Moak of Albany, La., Sean Boatright of Bremen, Nolan (Michelle) Boatright of Albany, Ga.; daughters, Julie (Michael) Spires of Bremen, Miranda (Gary) Fowler of Temple, Ga.; father, John Ballard of Alabaster, Ala.; brothers, Mark Ballard of Baton Rouge, La., Raymond Ballard of Baton Rouge, La., Timothy Ballard of Alabaster, Ala., Cameron Ballard of Alabaster, Ala.; sister, Rita Rogers of Fitzgerald, Ga., and 11 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Ann Rushing Ballard.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the chapel with burial to follow in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Emanuel County.

Helen Virginia Junior, 69, died Feb. 10, 2012, at RMC in Anniston, Ala.

Michelle Lynn Williams, 41, of Carrollton died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. Miss Williams was born in Marietta on Feb. 26, 1970. She was the daughter of Charles Wayne Williams Sr. and the late Patsy Ann Wade Williams.
