Unity North Atlanta Church will have a Closing Ceremony by Atlanta’s Tibetan Buddhist Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery, as part of a week of sacred activities. During the closing, the monks will ceremoniously deconstruct the White Tara Mandala, that was constructed over a six-day period, and sweep the sand into a pile. Small containers of the sand will be distributed to guests and the remainder of the sand will be dispersed into the running waters of Lake Cherful in Mountain Park to spread the healing energy of the White Tara throughout the world.
